Titleist Golf Bags

Titleist is usually synonymous with quality. It also can mean expensive. I’ve purchased several accessory bags and have various opinions. Let’s take a look.

I’m sure everyone knows that you are going to pay more for the name Titleist. I don’t have a problem with that if you get a good value for your money.

These purchases were either made on eBay or Amazon.

Backpack

I paid up for this one. It’s not the cheapest option for a back pack, but it turned out to be a really nice one.

If you are going to buy range gear like a launch monitor it’s a great option.

It’s like a laptop carrying backpack so it’s padded. It has multiple sections and front pockets.

This one would be highly recommended for your electronic gear or items that need to be protected more than others.

Shoe Bag / Range Ball Bag

I had some interesting events surrounding my first purchase of this bag. I won’t go into a lot of detail, but let’s say you get what you pay for and beware of prices that are too good to be true.

So, my purchases for these ended up on eBay and I had a much better and timely experience.

I don’t really use them for shoes. I have a couple other non-Titleist bags for that.

These are pretty plain Jane, but handy.

I use one for a range bag. They hold probably about 100 – 120 golf balls. That’s a guess. One large bucket fills it half way.

The second one doubles as a gear bag for days I take less stuff to the driving range.

I don’t like fumbling around with loose items and these are great for carrying all your smaller things to and from your vehicle.

Den Bag

This may double as a golf ball bag, but it’s pretty big. It’s like a half sized regular golf bag.

What I like it for is storing long practice items. For example, alignment rods, long metal ruler, range chair, putter stand, etc.

If you are like me, golf items can pile up. I like bags that let me separate specific practice or play gear.

Dopp Kit

I really didn’t want to buy this, but wanted a small bag that said Titleist on it. There aren’t a lot of options.

Too bad it isn’t padded. It also does not have dividers. It’s a pouch.

I wanted something I could use for a Dopp Kit or to hold small electronic golf devices.

My thoughts were to add some kind of padding and dividers.

I bought small cloth bags to separate devices and then used colored paint pens to write on the cloth bags to identify the contents.

So, I made it work. It’s not worth the money in my mind. It’s my least favorite Titleist bag.

Conclusion

I have a lot of bags. By that I mean Titleist and other bags.

I would recommend all these bags, but the Dopp Bag. It’s a flimsy pouch.

I like trunk dividers / bags, small can coolers, etc. to store specific things.

Here is a list of bags and uses.

  • Trunk divider – sits on the floor of a electric cart and holds everything I take to the course for a round.
  • Trunk divider – Pretty much all my putting gear / short game stuff
  • Can cooler – limited putting practice gear
  • Can cooler – limited range gear / short game stuff
  • Den Bag – Indoor bag to hold long loose items
  • Backpack – Sensitive electronic gear and accessories
  • Shoe / Golf Ball Bag – golf balls
  • Shoe / Golf Ball Bag – range bag for personal items, towels, etc.
  • Dopp Bag – small electronic devices and chargers
