FJ Quantum Golf Shoes

These are 2024 shoes, but I like them. In fact, I’d recommend them.

I bought a couple pairs of shoes last year in 2024.

The were high end FootJoy golf shoes and a more reasonably priced pair of New Balance golf shoes.

I bought the FJ Quantum shoes to replace or in an attempt to challenge the New Balance ($110) shoes.

I’m looking for better support all around especially in the heels. The FJ Quantum ($170) offer tremendous support throughout the shoe.

The fit of the FJ Quantum shoes is amazing.

I would suggest finding a store to try on “any” golf shoes. I found that I needed a 12 “Wide” for example.

The other FootJoy shoes from last year that I really like are the Tour Alpha. ($200) They have an extra wide sole giving you a very stable base. They are my favorite shoes for playing rounds of golf.

I was looking for something more appropriate for indoor / outdoor practice and after golf activities.

So, now we have the FJ Quantum with spikeless technology.

Having said that, I’m not going to wear them to dinner with a giant FJ on the side of the shoe.

A better example would be putting the shoes on before you leave the house. The spikeless shoes just work better traveling to and from the golf course.

Conclusion

American made or produced New Balance will always be my choice for tennis shoes.

However, FootJoy makes the best golf shoes in my opinion.

Here is my review from 2024 of the FootJoy Tour Alpha and the New Balance 997.

Suggestion. Look for deals on 2024 shoes. I just looked at the FootJoy website. They have the Tour Alphas I bought for $200 last year on sale for $74.95.

These are very unique and comfortable shoe. Even the laces are unique and do not slip easily. The whole shoe feels like it’s form fitted to your foot.
