Online putting training & resources are not as numerous as those for full swing, pitching and chipping. While in-person lessons are much better, good putting lessons are hard to come by locally. Here are some great putting sites. Let’s take a look.
In my mind, there are really 3 options for quality online training and resources.
The sites I use regularly are GolfPass, Phil Kenyon Putting Academy and Flagstick Academy.
My go to site is “GolfPass.” It includes all facets of the game. I particularly favor video training by Martin Hall.
Is some of this stuff available on YouTube?
Yes, but it’s not the same.
It’s stuffed in with less than valuable advice that may or may not be relevant to you personally.
Remember, YouTube content creators make money off their channels and try to attract you with “FLASH.”
Headlines might read…”Gain 40 extra yards immediately,” etc.
I would prefer sound advice on things relevant to my putting or full swing.

GolfPass
This was the first site I joined. GolfPass ★★★★★
In my mind, this is the best value for me.
I like the “Build a Better Game” series with Martin Hall. He has a series of videos on full swing, short game and putting.
There are a ton of other videos from world class golf professionals as well.
There is a monthly video subscription of $4.99 and yearly video subscription fee of $49.00.
I chose the yearly fee plus.
GolfPass+ annual subscription is $99.00 / per year which will activate a 7-day free trial and also includes Peacock streaming service with membership.

Phil Kenyon Putting Academy

This is not cheap. I had second thoughts. I decided to try one year.
If you are looking for a deep dive into putting, this is the pro instructor you want to follow.
Mr. Kenyon provides considerable detail on putting no matter the format or venue.
I’ve been watching his YouTube videos for some time now. They are mostly found via Odyssey Golf.
There are two Phil Kenyon sites. One is for his putting products and the other is his putting academy site.
The online academy is not cheap. I was expecting something less expensive.
However, the offering includes personalized training. Hence, you pay for what you get.
After all, that is his main gig. He is one of a few top professionals in the world for putting. His client list is impressive.
I have chosen to just use the video training on my own so far.

I’ve been following David Orr for some time as well. I personally get more from his videos.
There are a few on YouTube via other content creators.
If you are looking for a deep dive into putting, this is the pro instructor you want to follow. He has coached over 80 tour players as well.
So far, I’ve primarily used the video instruction.
