The PuttOUT Slim Putting Mat has all the great features of their full sized mat, but it’s only 25 cm or about 10 inches wide. It’s perfect for those with limited space or for travel. Let’s take a look.
This is my setup indoors. It’s in a very handy place, but mats can take up a lot of room.
I now have 5 putting mats. Inside, I can really only have two setup all the time. I keep one on the porch so It’s not in the way.
I can roll out my 13 foot Wellputt putting mat or my full size PuttOUT putting mat, but they take up a lot of room.
What I keep setup all the time is in the image below.
I have Wright Putting Dynamics aim board for laser aim training. An Exputt RG putting simulator with a Visio aim board and a monitor for longer putts. I just purchased a PuttOUT slim putting mat and use it with a PuttOUT premium pressure trainer.
This is what it looks like with everything rolled out for practcice.
Slim Putting Mat Conclusions
Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the purchase. Here are the pros and cons.
Pros
- It’s not expensive
- It doesn’t take up much room
- It’s rolls out or back up easily
- All my current PuttOUT accessories work with it.
Cons
- It requires some messing with to flatten out from time to time.
- It’s a little fuzzy in my opinion making to ball roll funny once in awhile
I’d recommend this putting mat for those of you who have limited space or who travel. ★★★★★
