PuttOUT: Tournament Inspired

This version is the same as the PuttOut Academy Putting Studio only it’s color design is inspired by the first major tournament of the year. It’s first rate.

Since I have a couple putting mats already, I was skeptical about getting another one.

With winter ending, I put my longer mat away. However, the courses aren’t opening up. So I thought I really need a smaller mat system like PuttOUT that I can leave set up all year round.

The PuttOUT Tournament Inspired Studio is a great value. I would definitely recommend it. ★★★★★

The idea is to strike your putts as to not move the magnetic alignment guides, go thru the putting gate and up the ramp.

You will know if you do something wrong. If you hit the alignment guides as you putt, they move so you can see and feel it. When the ball hits the putting gate, the ball will deflect.

Good putts roll up the ramp and back toward you.

Alignment is king with this product. There are helpful lines on the putting mirror for eye, shoulder and putter alignment. There are also numerous lines on the mat to help you line up square to the target.

Medium Putting Mat

The PuttOUT putting mat is a premium mat 8 feet long and 20 inches wide. It is printed with a “hole or cup.” The mat has markings on it every one foot up to six feet to putt from.

It runs 10 on the stimp meter.

When I rolled it out it was flat right away.

The mat comes with a carry bag.

Premium Trainer

The putting trainer is a ramp that returns the ball toward you.

The center of the ramp has an optional micro-target that will only hold putts that are perfect. You have the option of using the micro-target or not.

There is a plug that pushes up flush into the micro-target when you want to use the ramp only.

The trainer folds up so you could easily take it with you when traveling.

Putting Mirror & Gate Set

The putting mirror is very sturdy. It has a 3 layers. The mirror is scratch resistant, has a solid steel inner plate and a spiked-based rubber surround, holding the mirror in place where ever you putt.

It’s case has pockets for all the accessories that come with the studio.

The accessories are two magnetic alignment guides that adhere to the mirror for putter path and one 50 mm (1.97 inch) wide putting gate. The putting gate comes with two gate stands.

You can use the putting gate inside or outside.

The key to great putting is practice and with PuttOUT you really can take practice anywhere.”

The mat, trainer, mirror, alignment guides and putting gates fit in two carry bags.

You could leave the mat at home and just use the trainer, mirror and putting gate setup when traveling. It’s perfect for a hotel room for example.

Notes: Successfully putting the ball through the 50 mm gate means you kept your putter face square at impact within plus or minus 0.5 degrees which is the desired goal.

The putting gate needs to be positioned no farther than 12 inches in front of the golf ball per customer service.

They offer optional larger putting gates and other products at their website.
