Softspikes Pulsar Fast Twist spikes were the original spikes in my Footjoy Superlites. The Footjoy shoes are the best pair I’ve ever had. I wanted to order the Pulsar replacement spikes also. The lesson? Softspikes Fast Twist 3.0 and Fast Twist are not the same. Of course I ordered the wrong ones.
The short story is that they don’t make Pulsar Fast Twist anymore. The new Pulsar 3.0 spikes have a stud, spud or thread whatever you want to call it that is a lot shorter.
Therefore, the Fast Twist 3.0 spike will not lock into your shoe if you require “Fast Twist” spikes.
Does Softspikes still make “Fast Twist” spikes that are the correct length I need? Yes.

They said they are no longer making the Pulsar Fast Twist.
The options that I received directly from my conversation with Softspikes were that the “Fast Twist” options are the Cyclone, Black Widow Tour and Shadow spikes.
Softspikes customer service was awesome and I ordered new spikes through them.
They suggested that I order the Cyclone spikes. I ordered two packages of 18 spikes.
Why so many? I really like the Footjoy Superlites shoes and they fit perfectly. I plan on hanging on to them as they are in great shape.
The Footjoy website does not offer replacement spikes.
Softspikes ratchet spike tool
It is called the “Cleat Kaddy” spike wrench. I recommend getting one as they are worth the money.
The tool is perfect for installing plastic replacement spikes. It comes with a couple attachments the fit in the handle of the “Cleat Kaddy.”
The spike wrench gives you the torque you need to remove even the most worn cleats.
